Make it easier to order rows when browsing

It would be very convenient if there was an easier way to order results when browsing or searching. I have tables with long text columns and find myself always having to scroll far to the right to click the column I want to order by, then do it again to order in descending order. This is incredibly frustrating.

I’m thinking there could be either a quick dropdown above the results (kind of like the “show rows starting from record #” controls), or a way to provide a default ordering column per table in the database configuration. Or, ideally, both!

Clicking column headers might be okay if all your columns fit on the screen, but when you have 30 columns with long texts in them, it’s a source of incredible frustration.
