A Select that should return: 0 records found says instead 'problem with the syntax'

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I would expect to see something like: 0 records selected but instead see the following: There is a problem with the syntax of your query (Query was not executed)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? v1.8.6 Windows 7 Wampserver 2.1 powered by 'Alter Way'
