Video: Luminance decay of 1.0px creates trailing black line artefacts after characters

reporter Ok I played a bit around to find the minimum change in setting to show the artefacts:
Set CRT emulation through GPU then pull Luminanz Decay to 1.0px. See screenshot, where it appears already at the O, 6 and 0.
I use an NVidia GPU.

repo owner by the way, the luminance rise/decay is caused by the RF modulator in C64. It simply means that changes in luminance doesn’t happen in next pixel. Some people use a replacement for better S-Video quality.

reporter Ok, so you say the emulated black dots should represent the same ffect as the black areas after some of the white characters in this photo (S-Video):

repo owner no the emulated black dots are a bug. The effect you see in the picture above results from chroma sub sampling. rising the FIR Filter slider increase the effect .

I can’t reproduce it. I assume there is another option in combination with luminance decay of 1.0px which triggers this one. Could you provide a screenshot of the Video UI Settings.(first tab frame should be enough)
