Adding in a Virtual Modem to allow modem communications applications to interact with via LAN or the Internet. C64 Applications like: CCGMS Ultimate, StrikeTerm 2014, Z-term, Telnet, IRC or like PC/MAC App CGTerm. Reason being: VICE for mac is impossible to setup a serial device and CGTerm for Mac, downloading/file transferring hasn’t worked for years now.

the ticket pipeline looks like this:
- add new audio resampler
- load/save multiple settings
- resize Denise window while respecting aspect ratio
- Stereo SID
- define different monitor frequency in fullscreen
- Calling BBS (could be finish late this year)

How does ticket pipeline look like now and the status on this request?

almost done, I am currently working on it.
- swift link / turbo232 emulation can successfully connect to BBS at 38400 BPS over tcpser
- implemented and tested on Linux (Windows and macOS need to be tested)
- no emulation of user port connected devices (user port emulation is planned for later) … that shouldn’t be a problem for now ?

What version of tcpser for Mac did you use to test with? and where can we download it from?

but you have to compile it by youself. A simple “make” does the job.
it takes one or two weeks until next release of Denise. if you want to test it before, you can use latest Denise nightly: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/piciji/denise/history
click latest list entry, select your OS, click artifacts to download the nightly build.

There seems be a flow issue when using any baud rate higher than 4800. Anything higher, then there is character loss during transmission. Did Test in VICE @ 38400 baud rate and worked fine. Used CCGMS 2021 in both cases…

how do you recognize the character loss? can not connect to BBS with higher baud rate?

It can connect to a bbs, just after when the bbs is displaying there login/logo screen is when every is incomplete.
