Unable to build Websocket connection

I am using Open Connection sample to make a WebSocket connection with the given details from client i.e. Server name & port. I am getting this WebSocket I/O error: connection timed out. Please see the attachments.
Steps Performed:

1. Add ThreadGroup
2. Add WebSocket Open Connection
3. In the sample, I am using ws, server name & port (given by the client)
   Note: Application is using socket.io .

Apparently, the server is not listening on the host/port that you specify.
