Unable to get websocket response

Hmm, i wonder how you think i would be able to help you, if you provide virtually no information about what your problem is....

As noted in the documentation, there are sample testplans provided here. I would suggest that you open the test plan called "Basic request-response sample.jmx" in JMeter, and run it. It sends a message to echo.websocket.org and reads the response, so that should help you to find out how to get the response.
