Virtual Object running along patrol route - NPCs following in formation

A small (for normal players) invisible object will run along the patrol route. Group members will stay in formation related to the VO. This is also useful to avoid some NPCs being faster (inner side) than others (outer side).

/setg and clicking on the patrol spawner or a patrol waypoint of it will make the VO visible (like the beam right now)

VO will stop:

  • when a group member gets attacked
  • when a group member attacks a target nearby

VO will continue:

  • when all group members finished combat

By doing it this way we can also ensure that the VO and the whole group will continue the patrol from the last position in the moment the combat started.

VO will reset position to start of patrol route when all group members are dead. it will wait until all respawn timers of all group members are reset / ready.
