Lightsaber inventories

Lightsabers have attached inventories, object/tangible/inventory/shared_lightsaber_inventory_1 to 5. Whether these inventories have slots or just contain objects I don't know yet.

• Generation 1 lightsabers have shared_lightsaber_inventory_1
• Generation 2 lightsabers have shared_lightsaber_inventory_2
• Generation 3 lightsabers have shared_lightsaber_inventory_3

... and so forth.

The lightsaber cannot be equipped if there's no color crystal inside. The lightsaber inventory also cannot be modified while the lightsaber is equipped. The color crystal has a percentage at which they add elemental damage.

Power crystals or pearls increase minimum and maximum damage. Both of these crystals must be tuned, which is the Jedi-equivalent of Bio-linking.

I suggest implementing container permissions, which follow this behavior as well as acting like a "normal" item.
