Is there any way to add realtime messaging solution for the project ?

Have you suggestions? One would be to have an Ajax view returning a count similar to the postman_unread tag (or the postman_unread_count context variable). On the browser side, you would have to implement a long pooling (many minutes) to detect an increase of the number and then inform the user (an icon, a colour change, whatever...).
