Is it possible to add functionality for DE435?

This functionality already exists, though it is a little hidden. See this info from Ryan:

I've sent a pull request to Mike with the DE430 ephemeris file.
I also added in the de435 ephemeris file, but you will have to use it
a different way:
Instead of including
EPHEM DE430
in the parfile, you will need to include
EPH_FILE /path/to/t2runtime/de435t.bsp
