spectralModel not writing covarFunc.dat

I had simulated red noise for a pulsar using simRedNoise plugin. While trying to extract the whitened spectrum from simRedNoise's output using spectralModel plugin, it goes through all steps successfully, but in the end does not produce covarFunc.dat.

It is not showing any error either.
