Legacy fitting routines still used in e.g. cholspectra

Some investigation should be done to see if we can replace and remove the “legacy” fitting routines in t2fit.C as these have a fair bit of copy-pasted code. Alternatively maybe some replicated functionality can be extracted to new functions to avoid copy-paste.
