Unable to get first sector with drive locked on another console with master password.

If you pop a HDD into a XBOX that was locked on another console on boot of XBlastOS it attempts to read the drive and locks up for some time.

Would it be possible to attempt alternative master passwords on boot to avoid locking up XBlastOS?

I don't know if there is a password retry limit but maybe a toggle to enable this feature on XblastOS would be cool.

If you unlock and relock it is visible but it will then be unusable on the previous console.

There is a password retry limit implemented in the drive itself. After this limit has been reached, only a power cycle will reset this counter.

The next build with the IDE driver rework tackles this issue. I would prefer to wait and retry the procedure once it's released. It will most likely fix the lock up issues.

As for going straight to MASTER PASSWORD unlock on XBlast OS launch, I don't think it would be advisable.
