Can we add the ability to low level format a drive?

it is a good way of ensuring a repourposed computer drive has actualy no important data on it and it will anso show up bad sectors/ force remapping.

security prepare erase is able to recover a hd'd for use from a unknow lock code (data destructive)

Yes, that would be a good feature, if it's not too much trouble to implement. If so, I might reconsider it as there are probably PC tools that can this procedure just fine.
