HDD/DVD DMA data transfer support

DMA requires:

• properly aligned memory allocation.

• Chipset(MCPX) configuration.

• HDD configuration

• Logic in program to interface properly

Will the udma support ripping of content from dvd to hdd ?

Well not out of the box. It will require xiso filesystem handler to be coded in. Currently, XBlast OS (and Cromwell) only support iso9660 cdfs.

When time comes, I will require PC software source code that implements xiso filesystem reader.
