implement 4 lines of text on 2 line display's

Would it be possible to scroll the display up and down based on a time pattern to be compatable with xbmc4xbox 4 line output ?

To understand correctly. This request is to emulate a 4-line LCD display when a 2-line is connected while in a hombrew app like XBMC4Xbox?

If that's so, there's nothing that can be done here. All the logic is done in the homebrew app driving the LCD. The XBlast OS have no say on anything once you exit it and XBlast Mod does not contain any logic in that matter. It only acts has a LPC Bus -> Parallel converter.

If you want to scroll multiple lines on a smaller LCD, you must integrate such feature in the homebrew app itself. I am surprised that it isn't already the case in XBMC4Xbox.

yip 4 line emulation on a 2 line display.

I guessed this would require internal logic of some sort on the modchip, may this be a future possibility with the non "lite" version of the mod chip with an onboard micro ?

would it be a possibility to have a bit in the control word to fold the display one line or swap the top and bottom two lines? (I'm guessing this will require cpld code changes) ? The problem we have is there is other programs out there that we cant change now as the sources are not there or the devs are not around any more.
