unable to get first sector ?

This comes up on the screen with the seagate drive that wears rubber pajamas if it is worthy of note ?

Xbox is dead standard with sdg 605 dvd drive

    Ouch bugs just keep coming. I don't know what to say about this one. I have the same combination of IDE equipment here at home. I will test it later but maybe the HDD is dying?

    What's the Xbox revision?

    It may be related to the DVD drive as the HDD does not show this error by its self or in another console, an to be honest I have not seen this error since except when using a SATA to ide adaptor, I think it can be closed.

    Suspect DVD drive is slow to come online problem is resolved if you boot with a dvd inserted when booting XBlastOS, problem does not seem to Be Present in newer builds
