ability to patch the cpu to native speed for compatibility with games.

    The "patching" for CPU speed occurs on executables themselves. It could be possible to include an auto-patcher in a BIOS to avoid manually patching XBE but this all relates to hacked BIOSes and not Cromwell/XBlast OS.
