upload lcd custom characters?

does the script have the ability to upload custom characters to the lcd if not could this be implemented or some way of other implementing custom characters ?

maybe the os could load a config file with custom characters embedded on boot we could then access from a script/ gui ?

Not at the moment. There's no custom character support in XBlast OS. Plus scripts are pure ASCII files and must stay that way so there's no possibility of using any extended character in scripts. Being pure ASCII limits any text input to use the embedded character table in the HD44780 LCD.
