This Xbox is a ver 1.4 with a segate barr model number st3120026A 120Gb IDE hdd.

Stock everything else, problem is related to the hitachi gdr8050 dvd drive removing the drive fixes the problem.

Problem seems to not be present after swapping IDE cable with newer XBlastOS build.

OK, this issue will soon be irrelevant anyway with the IDE drive rework. It will no longer attempt to set multimode.
