Button handling/ mapping

At the moment when scrolling the menu you have to use the d pad and you cant use the analogue thumbs can this be changed? as I have controller and the up key does not work and it would be handy as basically you can navigate xbmc completely with the thumbs and it is never an issue except in xblast os.

also you cant hold down the button and keep scrolling through the menu every time you want to advance you need to let go and press the dpad button again ( one press per move).
