Auto power on on power failure?

Issue #92 wontfix
professor_jonny created an issue

I guess this cant be implemented as it is as the lite chip has no logic to automatically power on the console if power is lost.

This would come in handy for the long ftp sessions overnight. This could be extended to power based on a time pattern for an alarm clock feature or auto power off.

The only component that could do this is the SMC controller (the PIC chip). As far as I know, there is no programming in it to do this kind of thing.

While the Xbox is powered down, the LPC bus isn't powered, except on 1.6(b) but even so, the standby 5V is gated behind an electronic switch on XBlast Lite, so the XBlast Lite is never powered when console is in standby.

An over-engineered solution would be to use a microcontroller, monitor the power/eject button presses, count them and persist count in its internal EEPROM. If count of power on and power off mismatch, simulate power button press. But that is completely independant of XBlast OS.
