The ability to download files from a pre-assigned or on the fly source to allow the ability to download software like xbpartitioner 1.3 / config magic / recovery xbox dash. to allow basic rebuilding of a drive when the majority of dvd drives are finally not working

I think this is getting into a legal grey area as these apps are built with the XDK I think the intention is to include the functionality of these apps into XblastOS.

FATX write support is currently being implemented and plans are to put in ftp after it is completed which will over come your problem.

I hadn't thought about the legal aspect of the request but yeah, XDK software are out of the question. Since XBlast OS strive to keep a fully legal status, distributing XDK compiled software is probably not a good idea. OpenXDK software could be possible but no one want to use those.

Plus, the whole aspect of managing multiple destination paths isn't time efficient from a developer point to f view as not everyone install software at the same location.

Better have a user ftp those at their desired location.
