undefined macro in unused entry

Pybtex reports an error in the entry that is not referenced in .tex file:

ERROR: Undefined macro publ_missed.

Expected behavior: silently ignoring these entries as BibTeX:

This is BibTeX, Version 0.99c (TeX Live 2009/Debian) The top-level auxiliary file: t-string-missed-unused.aux The style file: unsrt.bst Database file #1: db-string-missed-unused.bib

Trying to fix the issue I also change the way of handling citation keys case. I am almost sure that more fixes are required since I have tested only .bib files. The files to reproduce the bug and the patch are attached.
