pybtex does not respect compound names

Consider an author having a compound name, e,g, http://books.google.ru/books?id=Uhm87WZBnxEC Jean-Pierre Hansen with the following format "{f.~}{vv~}{ll}{, jj}" format.name$ BibTeX produces J.-P.Hansen, but pybtex drops the second part of the first name: J.Hansen
