Current repository HEAD version results in the window opening in the background and forcing itself to remain in the background when under Python 3. The same version of the code under Python 2 does not exhibit this problem. Sample code:
import pygame pygame.init() w = pygame.display.set_mode((640, 480)) while True: for event in pygame.event.get(): if event.type == pygame.QUIT: QUIT
This is related to #203 which is about events not making it through to the app (if you do somehow get the window to stay in front no key/mouse events make it to the app). I also notice that under Python 2 the application icon appears in the Dock, but under Python 3 the icon does not appear. This would seem to indicate that the event handling system initialisation is b0rked.
