pyglet: a cross-platform windowing and multimedia library for Python.
The current stable version of pyglet is 1.3.2.
Releases are hosted on PyPI. To install the latest version:
pip install pyglet
Alternatively, you can download from bitbucket.
The development version may not always be suitable for production use but it is recommended if you want to try the new features or bugfixes.
The current beta version of pyglet is 1.4.0b1. This version is feature complete, but not fully tested yet. You can install the development release using:
pip install pyglet==1.4.0b1
Starting with version 1.4, to play compressed audio and video files, you will also need FFmpeg.
You can also install the latest version using:
pip install --upgrade https://bitbucket.org/pyglet/pyglet/get/tip.zip
