Inefficient image loading for Sprite objects

In the most common use case for {{{Sprite}}}, subclasses will create a class variable {{{images}}} to hold the image sequences for each possible state and direction of movement.

If multiple instances of one of these Sprite subclasses are created in a program, the image loading procedure will be repeated for each instance. The images are stored only once, but it would be better if less of the image loading logic were repeated on each instantiation of a sprite.
