Don't use cmake

Why the hell are you using cmake? The project is rather small and there is no need to use cmake you could just use a regular makefile without any cmake / autoconf / automake bullshit.
Please change this.

Unlikely to change, but I'm open to serious arguments.

One of the reasons for creating the project was to learn things; cmake ended up being one of them. The benefits for this project are small, so this was already somewhere near the bottom of my todo list, but there is also "no need" to immediately take the time to change this ("bullshit" does not count).
