Material Assignment / Top Bars / Bottom Bars

In a concrete design project under Material Assignments Parameter, the rebar specification is Steel A709 40 and Steel A709 60. But then under Bottom Bars and Top Bars they are all ASTM A615. I check the assets to look at the specifications of Steel A709 but it is indicated as a structural steel. Please check.

I think you are suggesting that Structural Steel A709 should not be used for reinforcement bars, right? It comes as default with the concrete design templates?

Yes. And yes it comes as a default material in concrete design.
