Object Grouping working abnormally

Objects created in a library using the repeat command do not seem to be grouped correctly. See the cross frames in the following file, and try to hide Bay 1. Most of the gusset plates in Bays 2 and 3 get hidden. And there are a couple of cross frame members in Bay 1 that remain unhidden.
