Drawing Line Objects in CADDFrom3D Feature

Currently it doesn't appear that Objects created from extruding Sections along Lines can be converted to 2-D CADD views by using the CADDFrom3D Feature. This would greatly enhance the documentation capabilities of library objects.

There has been numerous improvements to CADDFrom3D feature as of v3.151124. Most notable is that now all 3D graphics objects can be transformed into a 2D drawing and you can control the projection of 3D geometry to 2D (XY plane) using rotations about x, y, and z -- RX, RY, RZ parameters on CADDFrom3D object. Take a look at BrIMDeck and BrIMCrossFrameK objects under my name in the library app.
