Adding/editing Circle Shape

Issue #42 new
Joanna Sangalang created an issue

1. Adding a Circle Shape

When adding a circle shape from the Template in the drawing page or from cloud import icon.JPG, the popup below asks for the material and the radius: add shape-circle.JPG

On the other hand, when adding a circle shape from the Objects explorer, the popup below does not ask for the material of the shape, instead the radius and the number of segments to draw the object need to be defined: add shape-circle objects.JPG

2. Editing the Circle Shape

For the circle shape added from the Template in the drawing page or from cloud import icon.JPG, the edit.jpg icon will show the popup below: edit shape.JPG The previously defined radius is not shown.

On the other hand, for the circle shape added from the Objects explorer, the edit.jpg icon will show the popup below: edit circle objects.JPG There is no provision for defining the material of the shape. Instead, the name of the shape can be defined.

In the Objects explorer, a circle shape added from the Template or imported as Custom Shape is drawn with 50 points by default. It can be seen in the drawing page and in Objects explorer. circle from template 50 points.JPG circle from import 50 points.JPG

On the other hand, a circle shape added in the Objects explorer shows 36 segments by default as can be seen in the drawing page. In the Objects explorer, what is shown is only 1 point. circle from objects 1 point.jpg Where is this 1 point in the circle? Nothing happens to the circle if I edit the point, even if I delete it.
