Inconsistency in selected shape for 3D Line

Issue #61 new
Joanna Sangalang created an issue

When adding 3D Line, even if a section shape has been selected for the line, a default shape is listed in Objects explorer which has points different from the selected shape.

SEC1 is selected for the section: Add 3D Line.JPG

Note: SEC1 is 200mm x 300mm section: SEC1 drawing page.JPG

Points for SEC1 as viewed from Objects explorer: Edit Point SEC1.JPG Model is consistent with the selected shape.

Points for Section Shape under Line:1 in Objects explorer show different values from actual points for SEC1: Edit Point shape 3d line.JPG

Another example for this issue, this time with Circle shape:

Circle is selected for the section: Add 3D Line Circle shape.JPG Notice that Rotation of Origin shows up in the main popup instead of just after clicking Move/Rotate. - This is a different issue reported before.

Note: Circle has r=300mm: Circle drawing page.JPG

Points for Circle as viewed from Objects explorer: Edit Point Circle.JPG

Points for Section Shape under Line: 2 in Objects explorer show different values from actual points for Circle: Edit Point Circle shape 3d line.JPG There are just four points under Line: 2 > Section > Shape. Also, the model is not consistent with the selected shape.

I deleted the four points under Line: 2 > Section > Shape and added a Circle Shape instead: Line2 Circle Shape.JPG

The shape is now correct: Line2 Circle Shape Model.JPG

Notice that there is only one point listed in Objects explorer for the Circle Shape. - This is a different issue reported before.

Somehow it seems redundant that initially, the user needs to select the Section for the Line Add 3D Line Circle shape.JPG

and then the user can still add a Line Section/Shape/Circle Shape. Line options.JPG

And then in the Section, the user can add another Shape/Circle Shape. Line Section options.JPG
