integrate/change Twitter -> X brand logo / switch to FA6

Recently, the Twitter bird icon was discontinued and the icon was changed to a X logo.

As rx_shariff uses FontAwesome 5 (where there is no support for the X brand logo and it’s uncertain if the logo will be integrated: https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/issues/19827) I wonder if the best solution would be that rx_shariff switches to FontAwesome 6 where the brand icon is already available?

Or is there another solution?

Hi @DavMe.

Thanks for your report. Unfortunately this is the wrong place for such changes. This needs to be done upstream in the Heise-project on github.

Unfortunately, the activity on the Heise side is zero, so I actually doubt there will be any changes.

We did not find the spare time to create a dedicated fork of the project or search for an existing one. I would love to switch to a different upstream-fork anytime.

We are currently considering whether we change the upstream source to https://www.richard-fath.de/de/software/shariff-plus.html as it’s way more current and has some extras.
