BUGS AND FEATURES

If you find a bug or need a feature, please report it to https://bitbucket.org/saibotd/bitbeaker/issues. Please keep in mind that this is free software with very few volunteers working on it in their free time.

CONTRIBUTION

Contribution is very welcome! If you want to add a feature or fix a bug yourself, please fork the repository at https://bitbucket.org/saibotd/bitbeaker, do your changes and send a pull request.

Getting started

First make sure you have set a username in Mercurial. Add something like this to ~/.hgrc (*nix) or %USERPROFILE%\Mercurial.ini (Windows):

[ui]
username = John Doe <john@example.com>

The rest of this guide assumes you use Eclipse. After you have added Bitbeaker into Eclipse's workspace, you need to download and prepare ActionBarSherlock library project (see option 1. in Usage: Including In Your Project). Check that you have set path of ActionBarSherlock correctly (you should see green check mark) by following this: Referencing a library project. You may need to remove the old reference of ActionBarSherlock first. Since we might have different library path, please do not commit/push your changes of project.properties file to our repository. To prevent accidentally commiting modified path of ActionBarSherlock to repository, add this to your .hg/hgrc configuration file

[alias]
commit = commit -X project.properties

Note: this may cause problems during merge. If you get errors like this abort: cannot partially commit a merge (do not specify files or patterns) even when you commit your merge with hg commit -m 'merge', disable that alias temporarily. If you have better solution for not committing project.properties accidentally, please answer to question at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12483244/eclipse-override-library-path-defined-in-project-properties.

Translations

Translations are very welcome! See official guide for creating alternative resources. You may find command line tool Android Localization Helper useful when searching missing or obsolete Strings.
