Sever Extender 1.130.12.268 and Crontab on Windows 7 SESM 4.5

The Server Extender by default is saving every 5mins and on the website I have the auto-save at zero because the developer says to disable vanilla save so is your website with Server Extender enable able to change the auto-save to 30 mins instead cause it's cause lots of lag saving like that?

Does Windows work right off with Crontab or do I need to install some sort of software to allow crontab to start working cause right now I have the backups lvl 3 on and there hasn't been a single backup yet?
