Space Engineers log not opening

When trying to open the SEDedicated log through file manager, it either takes a long time to open, or does not open at all.

Was it a log in-use by a running server ? what is the file size displayed ?

Trying to open it whilst the server is running doesn't open the file at all (which is understandable) could you implement a warning about this so people know?

Trying to open it when the server is stopped, is when this issue is about it either take a long time (most), only works after a couple of clicks or doesnt at all. File size is normally few hundred kb, can open it if i download it.

This is an issue with not just the SE logs but any file that has a currently open write handler - we can't read it. So I can't open my SE logs, nor any mod logs, without shutting down the server. In combination with the broken log rotation, this is pretty unfortunate.

I will look if i can find a workaround. @DrChocolate : what do you mean by broken log rotation ? have you enabled the add date to log in the SESM settings ?
