Unable to change any Medieval Engineers settings

Super admin (possibly other accounts too) are unable to set or change any medieval engineers settings, they all just appear as if you dont have access to change them, despite the access settings (or super admin) having permission to change them. Making ME unable to run. This has to my knowledge started in 4.4, however i have only just noticed it.
