QuickRoutes

QuickRoutes lets you create django routes out of view functions names. It aims to help in prototyping when you just want to move ahead quickly and save the time of designing urls in urls.py files.

It is not intended for production use - for production use the standard django url routing.

To use it, add this to your urls.py file:

import quickroutes
quickroutes.autodiscover()

And add this to the patterns mappings:

urlpatterns = patterns('',
        url(r'', include(quickroutes.qr.urls)),
)

In your views.py file, add this:

from quickroutes import qr

And decorate your view functions like that:

@qr.action
def get__home(req):
    pass

The example above automatically creates a url mapping for the verb GET to the get__home() view function.

The mapping convention is <VERB>__<ROUTE>.
