Cannot check out the ET
The automated build and test system has failed to check out the ET for the last 6 days. One error log is at http://damiana2.aei.mpg.de/~ianhin/testsuites/einsteintoolkit/einsteintoolkit/2012-04-26-010001/testsuites.log. This appears to be a problem with the svn.cct.lsu.edu server because this is the server hosting the failed thorns.
Also, when run from the automated build and test, GetComponents is giving the following warning:
+ ./GetComponents -a --root=. --update einsteintoolkit.th Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at ./GetComponents line 2528.

A couple of people have suggested that this might be caused by a certificate issue. I have enabled verbose output (-v -v) for GetComponents and launched the tests again. If this is the case, then GetComponents should be displaying a better error message.

This was the problem. Accepting the certificate permanently on the affected machine by manually checking out the repository allows the automated checkout to work. Tests are now running again (all pass) and results are available at http://damiana2.aei.mpg.de/~ianhin/testsuites/einsteintoolkit/.

I don't think we should close the ticket. The original problem remains -- ssh certificates don't work as they should. It should not be necessary to manually accept a certificate. CCT or LSU needs to correct their certificate, or how the certificate is presented to external clients.

The certificate problem with LSU* is now resolved. The question what to do in case of certificate problems (at least GetComponents should not hang) is already open in #68. The problem there is likely now to find a good (bad) test case. AEI* has been fixed, and LSU* now as well.
