The preferred way to obtain GYRE is to download the latest tarball:
(earlier versions may be provided here for completeness, but don't assume they will work!). See the Getting Started tutorial for instructions on what to do next. You should also look at the appropriate Release Notes, to see if there are any potential issues you need to be aware of.
For those wanting more flexible access to the GYRE source code, it can be downloaded using the Mercurial distributed version control system. To obtain the latest version of GYRE, use the following commands:
hg clone -r stable https://bitbucket.org/rhdtownsend/gyre mkdir gyre/src/extern cd gyre/src/extern hg clone -r stable https://bitbucket.org/rhdtownsend/core
(note the nested cloning, with the
core module being cloned inside the
gyre module). For those wanting to live more dangerously, remove the
-r stable flag from these commands; this will give you the development version of GYRE.
