Issue #1 resolved

problem compiling with the makefile and sdl

Tim Dickson
created an issue

the makefile needs the SDL-1.2 entry changed to SDL to work. if the SDL-1.2 reference is removed from that line, and a following line

LDFLAGS += -ldl $(shell sdl-config --libs)

is added, that fixes the compiling problem

also, the data file(s) is(are) not copied over to the installation directory, so in the install: section of the makefile, an extra line at the end

$(CP) $(DATAPATH)/* "$(DESTDIR)$BINDIR)"

fixes that problem.

see attached updated makefile

Hi Richard, Sorry i've been so slow at checking this. my main test machine has gone AWOL so i'm using a server! The program also segfaults when you escape out of it, but that isn't too much of a problem, just a bit messy. (this is currently testing on slackware 13.1.0 32bit). I can test on slackware 13.37 32bit and 64bit when I get my test machine up and going again. I'll get a slackbuild ready hopefully by the end of the christmas break.
