Fails to open shared images after marshmallow update

I'm running Android Nougat 7.1.1 on Nexus 6P. When sharing from Piktures to Focus it starts to open Focus but doesn't make it past a black screen and then quickly reverts to the original gallery. Using stock Photos gallery seems to with without any issues.

It shows I'm running version 2.2. I'll try reinstalling and see if it makes a difference.

Ok, if you are running 2.2 then something is wrong. Because you should at least see an error message (which is why I assumed it wasn't 2.2 :) ) There is another person with this problem, and I have no clue what the problem is and here's why : Piktures is my default picture viewer! It works fine for me. :-/ What would help me a lot to find the problem is if you could tell me what Intent Piktures is sending to Focus. The easiest way to do that is to install this app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.ashtonbrsc.android.intentintercept Just try to share an image like you normally do, but then share it to Intent Intercept. It will pick up all the details that I need, and you can just copy/paste them here. Simple :) You can then uninstall Intent Intercept, or wait for the bug to be fixed just to be sure.

Hi David, I just released a version on Friday that should fix all this. Did you update?
I just realized that your attachment is a video. From what I see you do not have the latest version. You should have received an update by now.
