# Spacing in captions

Anonymous created an issue

Hello,

After updating my latex installation (beamer version 3.27) I just noted some strange behaviour when using a caption. In my pdf there is a space between the word "Figure" and the colon. Using the numbered option the space appears before the colon, too. Furthermore, the space after the colon seems to be a larger than usual. Is this a bug or a new feature? At least it's different to what I'm expecting.

Thanks, jan

\documentclass{beamer}

\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}

%\setbeamertemplate{caption}[numbered]

\begin{document}
\begin{frame}
\frametitle{Slide 1}

\begin{figure}
Some figure
\caption{Caption for figure}
\end{figure}
\end{frame}

\end{document}
