Issue #57 open

Margins set up wrong in \note[itemize]

created an issue

When using \note[itemize] the textwidth or right margins are setup incorrectly causing the lines to spill out of the right side of the page.

a minimal example is here: {{{

\documentclass[beamer,12pt]{beamer} \title{An example of itemize in notes not working in beamer} \usetheme{Boadilla} \setbeameroption{show notes} \begin{document} \begin{frame} $$ e^{i\pi}+1=0$$ \end{frame} \note[itemize]{ \item At vero eos et accusamus et iusto odio dignissimos ducimus qui blandiis pra } \end{document} }}}

The output of which can be seen in a question on TeX.stackexchange:

A possible workaround (posted as an answer there) is to modify the beamer template for the note page by surrounding the \insertnote command by a begin/end minipage of width \textwidth. for some reason, this seems to solve the problem in a ugly way.

    Maybe this help until nextrelease:

    suggestion by anonymous doesn't work for the use

    \item bannana
    \item orange

    due to the optional [itemize]....I'm sure there's a way around that too...

    I actually came to report this as an issue using v3.24, though in a slightly different context (I can start a new ticket if necessary).

    After resetting the text margins, putting the note inside a frame and putting either an itemize or enumerate environment breaks the margins in exactly the same way. MWE here:

    \setbeameroption{show notes}
    \setbeamersize{text margin right = 4mm}
    \setbeamersize{text margin left = 4mm}
        \frametitle{Minimum Working Example}
        Hello World!
                \item \lipsum[2]
