UTIInspector
Description
UTIInspector is a simple system service that provides a Uniform Type Identifier (UTI) inspector panel to the Finder. The inspector panel displays the UTI of the selected file as well as the name of the bundle that defines the UTI.
Installation
The UTIInspector.service executable should be installed in ~/Library/Services. After installing it, you may need to log out and log back in for it to be recognised.
Usage
Select a file in the Finder and then choose File > Display UTI Information or press Command-U. When multiple files are selected, an inspector window will appear for each file.
