Windows+Anaconda Installation Problems
Issue #31
resolved
- Compilation of kernels und KiFDD fails and can be fixed by
- adding
#include <cmath>
at the top of the *.cpp files generated by cython. (Python on windows fault) - add some whitespaces in
npy_1_7_deprecated_api.h
of numpy. (Numpys fault, I comitted a bugfix to numpy's main repo https://github.com/numpy/numpy/commit/5fdfa413964ea9c17fbe9bc1f996e5feb60bb24d)
- adding
- (The hashing cython extension does not work. There is an issue with the types. This causes one testcase to fail. -- SOLVED)
- The tkagg backend does not seem to be included in Anaconda. This causes our code to result in errors. If I switch to QT4Agg, windows are not updated interactively (Matplotlib / Anaconas fault) -- WORKAROUND in current code: automatically switches to qt4agg if tkagg not available
I am pretty depressed by all the hurdles created by errors in other packages in combination with Windows and OSX...
