Actually it indeed crashes, although not with an empty square but if there is an item on the floor (corpse,equipment). Checking code does not work properly.

What about talking with NPC non visible for player character? This can be subject for long discussion in other place with community skilled in fine points of D&D. (ver 3.5 is closest to incursion?)
