Allied creature takes attack of opportunity on player

Human priest, fourth level, three revenant allied creatures as gifts from Mara.

I slipped on a grease trap.

They all took attacks of opportunity against me and could not be quelled.

I had to destroy them. Two of them appeared to vanish while I was fighting the third. Instead they hid, ambushed me, and killed me in one round, and again upon resurrection.

Oh well. I'm sure you've all lost more than just a level 4 priest.
